Title: | Main Title: Terrestrial cosmogenic nuclide (10Be) concentrations for Guanillos (GUA) and Paposo (PAP) |
Description: | Abstract: This file contains the analytical results of the terrestrial cosmogenic nuclide (TCN) measurements (10Be concentrations) used for surface exposure dating by subproject C02 at two coastal sites of the Atacama Desert; Guanillos (GUA, 21.97°S/70.17°W) and Paposo (PAP, 25.03°S/70.47°W). Analyses were conducted at the Institute of Geology at the University of Cologne. The data from the coastal alluvial fan complex GUA is used by Walk et al. (2022) in order to constrain the surface exposure ages of four morphostratigraphic units, while the 10Be concentrations at the alluvial fan PAP were used by Walk et al. (in review) to establish a morphochronological framework of a succsession of three abandoned surface generations. Data is stored in several xlsx-files. Further explanations concerning the methodology are included in the corresponding publications (Walk et al., 2022; Walk et al., in review).
